CBL Web Application Builder v8.02 Now Available
December 29, 2007

Version 8.02 of CBL Web Application Builder is now available for download.

Main changes are as follows:

1. Simplified method of changing field/table order.

Now you can simply drag and drop the fields/tables into the correct order - the old system with arrows was time consuming and many users found it confusing.

2. Support for HTMLArea Version 3

The HTML Editor in previous versions was only compatible with Internet Explorer, this one works with Mozilla based browsers including Firefox

3. Fixed MySQL Connection problems in Vista

The previous version had a bug which stopped the application from connecting to MySQL when using Windows Vista.

4. Fixed case-sensitivity issue in menus.

The menus were not appearing when used with case-sensitive servers such as Apache, the links are now in the correct case.

5. Error fixed in Available/Selected boxes using MySQL

In the previous version if you tried to save a new record that uses Available/Selected fields in MySQL it would throw an error.

6. Alphabetical Field Order fixed

When selecting alphabetical order to display fields, it was often ignoring the request, this is now fixed.

7. Usernames/Passwords no longer case sensitive.

Case Sensitivity was causing some users problems.

v8.03 now available

v8.03 fixes some problems relating to HTMLArea 3 and in the security setup.
